Rebecca Mooney, PMHNP, known as Becky to her patients, family, and friends, was raised in Pocahontas, Iowa, and graduated from Pocahontas High School. She earned an Associate’s degree in Travel and Tourism before serving 10 years in the United States Army following the events of September 11th.
After returning home to raise her family, Becky continued her education through Iowa Central Community College and earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. She is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through ANCC.
She began her nursing career in rural EMS and the emergency department and has since gained experience in medical-surgical, surgery, nursing leadership, and teaching roles. She continues to serve her community by working on the local ambulance service and has a passion for caring for individuals with mental health needs.
Becky is married to Patrick, and they have three children, Alyson, Marie, and Molly. She enjoys helping others and spending time outdoors with her family.
Becky is excited to serve patients of all ages in the Fort Dodge area, with a particular passion for supporting fellow veterans and providing children’s mental health services.
