Julie Beehler

Julie Beehler is a South Dakota native who has called Spencer, IA home since 2000. She holds an Associate of Arts in Nursing from the University of South Dakota (1996) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa (2003). In 2007, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from South Dakota State University. Julie is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). With 18 years of experience, Julie has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in both emergency and primary care. Julie has also served as an adjunct nursing professor for Iowa Lakes Community College and as an instructor in Family Medicine for the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. 

Julie was part of the team that helped establish the Greater Sioux Community Health Center in Sioux Center, IA, now known as Promise Community Health Center. 

Julie and her husband, Jade, have three children. Outside of work, Julie enjoys swimming, biking, reading, and spending time at the lake, as well as attending sporting events. 

Julie is passionate about health promotion, prevention, and the care of acute and chronic illnesses. She welcomes patients of all ages and is certified in DOT, ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and Nexplanon.
