Alexis Woodley

Alexis Woodley, PMHNP, is a Fort Dodge native and graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High School. She earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Iowa Central Community College and began her nursing career on the cardiothoracic surgical unit at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. She later transitioned to the intensive care unit at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, where she also served as a clinical instructor for Iowa Central’s nursing program.
In 2018, Alexis expanded her clinical experience through travel nursing, working in Texas, the Maryland/DC area, and California. In 2020, she joined Stanford Health Care and worked on the cardiopulmonary unit. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University and became a board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2025.
Alexis is committed to improving access to compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care. She is proud to serve the Fort Dodge community and help strengthen diversity within local behavioral health services. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, game nights, and spending time with family and friends.
