Fort Dodge, IA- Community Health Center of Fort Dodge is pleased to announce that Rebecca Serfozo, LISW, has joined its Behavioral Health team, bringing compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health services for individuals and families throughout the Fort Dodge area. Appointments with Rebecca Serfozo, LISW, are now available. Rebecca is a Licensed Independent Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals and families find healing, hope, and confidence. She is passionate about making mental health services accessible to everyone and creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Rebecca provides behavioral health counseling for children, adolescents, and adults, with specialized experience in trauma-informed care for women and children. 

Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2018 and her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2020. She became a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio in 2023 and obtained her Iowa LISW licensure in 2024. After relocating to Iowa in 2025, she continued her commitment to providing high-quality behavioral health services. 

Rebecca specializes in trauma therapy for women and children and incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her practice to help clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, develop healthy coping strategies, and move forward with confidence. She believes therapy is about more than reducing symptoms; it is about helping people recognize their strengths, build self-esteem, and create meaningful, lasting change.
