Dental Services at Community Health Center

Child with dentists Dental office

At Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, we provide a number of dental services to meet any of your needs. Referrals to specialists are available as well! We work closely with you and your family to determine what type of care is most suitable for each individual. If you have any questions, or to schedule an appointment, be sure to contact us today.

Complete dental exams are necessary for those of all ages in order to prevent cavities and promote a healthier set of teeth. We keep an eye out for varying signs that have the potential to cause further issues down the road, and provide x-rays as needed.

Our dentists at Community Health Center of Fort Dodge utilize high-tech x-ray machinery to diagnose any of your dental concerns and provide you with more comprehensive care moving forward. With clear x-ray images, we can confidently determine a treatment for your individualized needs.

We offer routine teeth cleaning to keep your oral health on track. All of our dental cleanings include a complete inspection of your teeth and gums, deep clean, tarter and plaque removal, flossing, and fluoride treatments as needed.

Fillings are applied to any teeth where any material had to be removed because of tooth decay or cracking. At Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, we use composite reins that are the color of your teeth, porcelains, and cement resins.

Sealants are very thin, plastic coatings that are applied to the surfaces of molars in order to prevent tooth decay. They protect the pivotal teeth of your mouth, and provide you a much easier time when it comes to keeping your teeth and gums clean.

A tooth might need to be extracted if it is decayed, cracked, or infected. Our dentists will examine the tooth (or teeth) in question, and determine if it needs to be removed or if an alternative treatment would be just as helpful to your particular case.

Referrals to Specialist

If you require individualized care at a different level, we do provide referrals to a specialist that will better suit your needs. Our dentists are experts at identifying the root of any dental issue, potential solutions, and which specialist will be the most helpful to you.

Oral Health Education

As preventative care, we provide comprehensive oral health education to ensure clean, cavity-free teeth that further contribute to the health of your whole mouth. We teach you and your kids the best cleaning regimens to practice at home between dental appointments. Make it a habit every day to brush, floss, rinse, and take precaution when it comes to sports, as well as your diet!
