Back-to-school Block Parties are happening
in both Fort Dodge & Mason City

WHERE:
Inside and outside in the parking lot behind our building at 126 N 10th Street, Fort Dodge.

WHAT:
Medical & Dental Care will be inside, we will provide comprehensive back-to-school healthcare for kids, just in time for the school year’s start. Bring your child for well child checks, immunizations, sports physicals, & dental exams.

Fun/resources outside including many local organizations offering free activities for kids.

Upper Des Moines Opportunity will be distributing backpacks filled with the needed supplies for each student. To receive one you must live in Webster County and apply in advance. Pick up an application at their office or call 576-7774 to get one.

There will be a free meal starting at 5 pm – Pork burger, beans, chips, cookie & water.

WHEN:
Appointments only from 10 AM – 4 PM the day of the block party.
Walk-ins/party in the parking lot from 5 PM – 8 PM.

HOW:
To schedule an appointment call 515-576-6500, to walk-in come inside between 5 – 8 pm the day of the event. We will be providing information on how you can fill out necessary paperwork for your healthcare visit ahead of time, stay tuned!

Our Parking Lot @ 404 N Federal Ave in Mason City.

WHAT:
Medical & Dental Care will be inside and fun/resources outside.

Community Health Center of Mason City will provide comprehensive back-to-school healthcare for kids, just in time for the school year’s start. Bring your child for well child checks, immunizations, sports physicals, & dental exams.

United Way will have free shoes for kids who are attending the bloc party and The Salvation Army will be distributing backpacks filled with school supplies. Many other organizations will be there with activities and help with things like registering for school.

There will be a free meal starting at 5 pm – Pork burger, beans, chips, cookie & water.

Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) sponsors National Health Center Week (NHCW) to celebrate and increase awareness of America’s 1,400 Community Health Centers (CHCs). National Health Center Week is an opportunity to highlight the commitment and passion of Community Health Center staff, board members, and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to more than 31.5 million patients across nearly 15,000 communities annually.
