Spencer Welcomes Ashley Anderson, PMHNP

Spencer, IA — Community Health Center of Spencer is proud to welcome Ashley Anderson, PMHNP, to its behavioral health team. Ashley is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who will soon begin seeing patients age 5 and up for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management of a wide range of mental health symptoms. 

Ashley brings a strong clinical background and deep passion for mental health care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, along with previous degrees in nursing and surgical technology. Her experience includes work in long-term care, memory care units, and acute inpatient psychiatric settings—serving children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. 

Community Health Center of Spencer is a federally qualified health center providing medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Services are available to all individuals, regardless of insurance status. The health center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, most major insurance plans, and offers a sliding fee scale for those who qualify.
