Clarion, IA – Community Health Center of Clarion is proud to welcome Abby Timmerman, RDH, to its dental team. 

Timmerman joined Community Health Center of Clarion in June of 2026 after graduating from Iowa Central Community College Dental Hygiene Program. Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist, she gained several years of experience as a Dental Assistant in three different states, building a strong foundation in patient care and dental health services. 

As an advocate for oral health, Timmerman developed a passion for dental hygiene while still in middle school and is excited to bring that passion to patients in Clarion and the surrounding communities.  

In her role as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Timmerman focuses on helping patients improve and maintain good oral health while providing education on oral health, overall wellness, and disease prevention. 

“I am excited to get to know the people of my community and be a part of their oral health journey,” said Timmerman. “My goal is to help patients improve and maintain their oral health while providing education that supports their overall health and well-being.” 

Originally from Illinois, Timmerman and her husband moved to Iowa in 2021. Outside of work, they enjoy traveling throughout the United States, exploring new cities, and spending time with family.  

“Abby brings a strong background in dental care and a genuine passion for patient education,” said Becky Ramsey, Office Manager. “Her commitment to helping patients achieve better oral health and her enthusiasm for serving our community make her a wonderful addition to our team.” 

Community Health Center of Clarion is a federally qualified health center providing medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Services are available to all individuals, regardless of insurance status. The health center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most major insurance plans, as well as a sliding fee scale for those who qualify.
