Heather Martin is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving patients at Community Health Center of Spencer. She began her nursing career after earning her associate’s degree in nursing from Iowa Central Community College in 2009. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Iowa in 2015, followed by two master’s degrees from Briar Cliff University; a Master’s in Health Care Administration in 2022 and a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2026.

Her professional background includes inpatient geriatric behavioral health and working with children with disabilities. She is excited to join Community Health Center and help expand access to mental health services in the area.
