Helen Retleff, ARNP, brings years of diverse nursing and primary care experience to Community Health Center’s Clarion location, where she serves as a family nurse practitioner. Her background includes extensive work as an emergency room nurse in a busy college town, along with experience at UnityPoint, Community Health Center of Mason City, and Proteus. Helen earned her nursing degree from Mercy College of Health Sciences, her Bachelor of Nursing from Chamberlain College, and her Nurse Practitioner degree from Purdue Global in 2017. She is passionate about building strong patient relationships, helping individuals understand their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans, and providing personalized care for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. A firm believer that medical care is not one-size-fits-all; Helen tailors care to each patient’s lifestyle and needs. Outside of work, she and her husband live on his family farm, where they stay busy with their animals, bees, and enjoying time with their seven grandchildren.
