Savanah Adkins

Savannah joined Community Health Center in July 2023. She graduated with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Buena Vista University in August 2022 with a focus on substance use and trauma informed care. Savannah is a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC) and has a background working with adolescents and adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

Savannah is passionate about empowering clients to develop confidence, moving forward and creating change. She uses various evidence-based techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral interventions to support clients through life transitions, communication barriers, family dynamics, substance use, anxiety, and depression. In her free time, Savannah enjoys reading, exercising, quilting, and spending time with loved ones.
