Roxanne Fevold
Roxanne joined Community Health Center of Fort Dodge in December 2018 as a mental health therapist. Roxanne completed her Bachelor of Arts in Family Life Education with psychology and music minors through Concordia University St. Paul. She then moved to Iowa and started working on a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She is licensed as a mental health counselor and a certified alcohol and drug counselor. She has had various experiences including milieu treatment for children with severe behavioral challenges and attachment disorders, inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, community outreach, and community mental health. Roxanne enjoys working with clients of all ages, empowering them to achieve their goals. She has experience with LGBTQ +, dual-diagnosis, pregnancy/post-partum, children, adolescents, early and middle adult, and geriatric. She is trained in Alcohol and Drug Specific therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy with attachment focus (Iowa – PCIT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and various play therapy techniques. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and music.
